On the Manage2Sail website
Tracking is only visible to race officers

No! If you want to run multiple classes in Regatta Hero, it only works as a yardstick regatta
Yes! Regatta Hero automatically detects class separation and uses AI to identify the started classes
Yes! You can create a separate regatta in Regatta Hero for each boat class and start them at the same time or e.g. with a 5-minute delay (also automated)
How do you start boat tracking for a regatta?
By connecting the app to a GPS device
By pressing the 'Participate in the Regatta' button. Only when the header changes from blue to orange will the boat be tracked
Through automatic location detection. Regatta Hero independently identifies the regatta you are participating in
By manually entering the start time
What personal data of the sailor is transmitted to the server by the app?
First and last name, email address, mobile number, and birth date of the boat owner
Name, SIM card number (ICCID), mobile number, and email address of the skipper
No personal data is transmitted—only boat-related data (sail number, boat name, team name, boat class, handicap, club name, and boat position)
No data is transmitted to the server. The server uses Lidar to detect boat positions and sail numbers on the race course
How do you get help if there are problems using the app?
There is a forum where you can ask questions at any time
Instead of reading the manual, you can always email support
Read the manual carefully and check tips in the forum and blog. Only then post a new question in the forum
Just call the Regatta Hero development team — they are always available
What happens to the courses when the position of a buoy is changed in Regatta Hero?
Nothing — buoys and courses are not related to each other
If a course definition includes course marks that refer to this buoy, the shape of all courses using this buoy position will change accordingly
Once a course is defined that uses this buoy to define a course mark position, the position is fixed and future changes have no effect
The position of buoys that are actively used for defining course marks cannot be changed
